== The Position == Wavelength is currently seeking a dedicated and hardworking anaesthetist to provide anaesthetic services in general adult, paediatric and obstetric anaesthesia. In this role, you will handle perioperative patient optimisation and post-operative follow up care. You will also be involved in establishing an acute pain service and conducting rounds related to this. The role will also include aspects of Clinical Safety and Quality of Care, where you will seek improvement in preoperative services and actively take part in audits. You will ensure registrars are supervised and contribute to their teaching and development. In addition to these responsibilities you will also contribute to and implement quality improvement and risk management. The Hospital This role gives you the opportunity to join a leading health care provider, with private hospitals, home nursing and social outreach services throughout Australia.  This hospital consists of 367 beds, with 307 for public patients and 60 for private patients all located under one modern complex.
