The key responsibility of this full-time role is to lead Clinical Governance, Patient Safety and Clinical Quality across the LHD. In this role you will develop strong links and work collaboratively with the medical workforce, clinical streams, LHD Executive and Operations to drive excellence across the LHD.

This hospital is a 180-bed facility and is the largest of the 4 base facilities in the Area Health Service. The facility provides a range of general, surgical and specialist services. Annually the hospital treats more than 27,000 patients in the Emergency Department, performs over 6,000 operations, delivers more than 900 babies and performs 65,000 outpatient services.

This opportunity will suit a highly motivated applicant that possesses or is working towards obtaining Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Medical Administrators (FRACMA).
