Icon Cancer Care

If you are a Radiation Oncologist looking for a role that combines your clinical expertise with your strategic leadership skills, this is worth a closer look.

Register your interest and we will be in touch for a confidential discussion and to send you your comprehensive brochure.

This is an opportunity for a Radiation Oncologist to provide exceptional patient care and outcomes to the population of Queensland.

  • You will benefit from a unique values-driven culture which embraces professional development, builds capabilities, and supports staff to maximise their health and wellbeing
  • Icon Cancer Care offers their teams a collegial and dynamic work environment, career development pathways, unique rewards and benefits in addition to attractive salary packages

  • Choose from two regional locations; live the Australian dream in Bundaberg and enjoy the diverse mix of urban, coastal, and rural environments, or take advantage of the excellent schools, affordable housing and relaxed lifestyle on offer in Toowoomba
  • There is also the opportunity for part time / VMO position
  • Your entrepreneurial spirit, leadership in education and commitment to research will see you become an influential figure within Icon Cancer Care
  • You must hold FRANZCR (Faculty of Radiation Oncology) or overseas equivalent and full Medical Indemnity insurance and EPA license for radiation oncology.

  • My first posting within the organisation was with ROC Toowoomba. Located one hour west of Brisbane, ROC Toowoomba at St Andrew's Toowoomba Hospital is a good spot to start or further your career with an emphasis on work-life balance. Public-private referral networks ensures a wide-ranging clinic practice with exposure to complex presentations and challenges. Well established multidisciplinary clinics provide learning opportunities with access to surgical and medical oncology colleagues from day one.
