My client is a rural and remote hospital looking for a Senior Medical Officer to work in their busy emergency department. The doctor will have at least 7 years experience of working in hospital emergency departments and ideally hold fellowship of FRACGP or FACCRM.
Must have FRACGP or FACRRM. You must either be an Australian or New Zealand Citizen, an Australian Permanent Resident or on a 457 Temporary Work Visa.
I am working with an afterhours at home visiting GP service – covering the Cairns, Geraldton and Perth metro regions- this company are looking for locums on an ongoing basis.
The role is open to both VR and non VR GPs looking to increase their earnings. You will be providing at home, afterhours GP service, seeing approx. 3 patients per hour (although this is flexible depending on your preference).
The shifts times are flexible and are usually Monday-Friday between 6.30pm and 2am, Saturdays from 1pm-2am and Sundays/Public Holidays shifts available between 7am-3am. You can work for any length of time between these hours however the preference is for a GP who can do a minimum 5 hour shift.
FRACGP or VR status with Medicare. Current registration with AHPRA.

You will be working alongside 1 GP?s and 2-3 nurses, one of whom focuses on care plans. This modern and well equipped clinic has 6 consulting rooms, uses MD and Prac Soft and they book patients in 15 minute intervals. Nursing home visits will be required and there is an occasional Saturday available

Meet new people and work in an established hospital in Queensland. This locum consultant position is for the respiratory department only. The working hours are Monday to Friday 0800-1700. <br />
There are approximately 7-8 clinical sessions and 2-3 clinical support sessions per week. Clinical sessions include inpatient morning ward rounds and outpatient clinics in the afternoon. Commitment for 1 in 5 on-call for after-hours & weekends is required. On the weekend on-call consultant is expected to do post take ward rounds and review of unwell patients as requested by the junior medical officers of the unit. There are altogether five respiratory physicians in the team. <br />
The respiratory department is further supported by 1.5 FTE advanced trainee registrars in Thoracic Medicine, 2.0 FTE basic physician trainees, and 1 RMO (SHO) and 1 intern. There are on-site sleep and respiratory laboratory with skilled staffing. <br />
The average number of inpatients is 10-15, including 1-2 admissions and 1-3 consultations per day. Cairns hospital is a 550 bedded regional tertiary referral centre. Hospital is supported by fully functional Intensive Care Unit, Cardiac care unit, Endoscopy unit, and Medical Assessment unit, etc. PET, MRI, CT as well as interventional radiology services are available on-site.
