PGY3+ required for a mixture of day, evening & night shifts 3.5hrs from Melbourne
Small hospital, with around 13,000 ED admissions. Supported during day shifts. For the night shift you will be the sole doctor in the hospital responsible for both ED and the Acute Ward, with 24/7 support of VMO, O&G, Anaesthetist and Surgeon.

Up to $1000 for travel which includes flights to Melbourne and car hire. The hospital arrange off site, self-contained accommodation.
You must have General Registration with AHPRA, a National Criminal Record Check and VIC Working with Children Check (which can be applied for online)
Newly refurbished Emergency Department which sees approximately 37,000 presentations annually with the numbers increasing
You will see a variety of presentations including regular GP type cases and 51% of level 1-3 cases. The workforce is made up of FACEMs, CMOs and JMOs as well as the nursing staff

Flights to Grafton or Coffs Harbour Airports and accommodation provided by the hospital. Hire car can be arranged if necessary. 3.5hr drive from Brisbane, mileage will be reimbursed if using own vehicle.

Albury is the biggest of the two hospitals, the ED consists of 12 beds, 2 Resus beds and a 4 bed short stay unit. Wodonga is a 12 bed ED with 2 Resus beds. Across both facilities the ED has around 80,000 presentations annually with 25% paeds presentations

There is a FACEM on shift from 0800-1800hrs and then on call from 0000-0800hrs. Flights and accommodation are provided. Taxis will be reimbursed. Albury airport is a 1hr flight from Sydney or Melbourne. 3.5hr drive from Melbourne, 5.5hr drive from Sydney.

Albury Wodonga Health have specific hospital paperwork which must be completed. A NCRC & NSW/VIC WWCC is also required, which can be applied for online.
