The Position

An exciting opportunity exists for a dedicated specialist or senior specialist to join the Women’s health unit at a large hospital in Far North QLD. You will work closely alongside the Director of Obstetrics and Gynaecology to ensure a quality standard of care is provided to all visiting patients. With a focus on quality care, you will play an integral part in providing leadership and teaching to the junior medical staff. This is a fantastic opportunity to further develop your leadership skills and progress within your career.

The hospital is the only major referral hospital in Far North Queensland, providing care for people from Cape York and the Torres Strait. The hospital covers a large geographic area and provides a wide range of primary care, acute and specialist services. Essential Criteria

To be successful in applying for this position you must hold specialist qualification with RANZCOG and be registrable as a Specialist in Obstetrics and Gynaecology with AHPRA or eligible.
