Working within the Acute and Community service, you will provide a high standard of care for patients and their families and ensure their needs are at the centre of all your decisions. The hospital delivers clinical services to approximately 300,000 people from 29 facilities, including one large regional referral hospital, one extended inpatient mental health service, three medium sized regional hub hospitals, twelve rural hospitals, three
multipurpose health services, three community outpatient clinics and six residential aged care facilities.
Toowoomba (nicknamed 'The Garden City') boasts more than 150 public parks and gardens. A university and cathedral city, it has developed into a regional centre for business and government services. It is also referred to as the capital of the Darling Downs. It is located 125 km west of Queensland's capital city, Brisbane, by road.
To be successful in applying for this position you must hold Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists or equivalent and be eligible for registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Agency (AHPRA).
