An opportunity has arisen for a Staff Specialist Psychiatrist to join a multidisciplinary team in NSW’s Far West. The position involves delivery of clinical care on-site in a full-time capacity. For candidates with FRANZCP this can be done via telehealth for 3 weeks, followed by a week on onsite care delivery. Providing clinical care to general adult patients will be the majority, although, providing care to adolescents and old age patients may be required from time to time. The 89 bed hospital is a major referral centre which provides a range of inpatient and outpatient services including emergency, general medical and surgical, mental health, maternity, gynaecology, paediatrics, renal dialysis, rehabilitation, critical care, diagnostic services, cancer care and palliative care.

Australia/NZ: Must hold FRANZCP and be eligible for Specialist registration with AHPRA
UK/Ireland: Must hold MRCPsych / FRCPsych plus UK Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT/CCST) and have been practicing as a Consultant for 3 years or more.
USA: Must hold Certificate of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and have been practicing as a Consultant for 3 years or more.
