Wavelength are currently seeking a Paediatrician to take on a unique role in regional Northern Territory. You will provide your expertise through delivery of high-quality care to inpatient, outpatient, outreach and retrieval clinical services giving you a rare opportunity to immerse yourself in the unique culture and strong Indigenous community of the local area. You will enjoy the benefits of a competitive remuneration package as you provide these essential services alongside participation in an on-call roster as required, and provision of consultative services to other departments as requested from your colleagues. Additionally, you will have a passion for teaching as you provide supervision and teaching of junior medical staff and students.
This 186-bed hospital is positioned in a remote environment, located 1500 km from the next surgical facility and servicing a population spanning a 750km mile radius. The hospital provides general medical, surgical and specialist services including Intensive Care, Psychiatric, Oncology, Obstetric and Coronary Care services. The Hospital is fitted with a modern 24-hour Emergency Department which sees approximately 50,012 presentations annually.

The successful candidate will be an experienced fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians and hold specialist registration with the Medical Board of Australia.
