Wavelength is seeking a motivated Paediatric Consultant for an exciting opportunity in regional NSW. Joining a collegiate team of 4.6 FTE general paediatricians, you will be engaged on a six month full time contract to deliver high quality patient cantered care. You will work in a 12 bed child and adolescent unit as well as a 4 bed special care nursery co located with a 10 bed CAMHS inpatient unit. Your team is supported by a provisional fellow, two advances trainees and Paediatric SRMO’s ensuring you are well placed to demonstrate your expertise and provide the highest level of clinical care to the community. You will have keen interest in sharing your knowledge facilitating and contributing to the supervision and training of colleagues, junior medical officers and other relevant stakeholders within the hospital and region.

The facility offers a wide range of specialist services including Obstetrics, Paediatrics, Emergency, ICU and Coronary care. The modern Emergency department currently sees over 30,000 presentations, and 21,000 admissions annually. The hospital has close ties with prestigious tertiary facilities including the University of Sydney which holds a training hub on site.

The successful candidate will be a Fellow with the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (Paediatrics) and hold specialist registration with the Medical Board of Australia.
