Wavelength has a rare opportunity for an Oncology Specialist to take on a unique role located in regional Northern Territory. You will bring your experience in Oncology providing Medical Oncology services to both inpatients and Ambulatory Care patients. This position will include some on call duties where complications to Medical Oncology patients occur. The Medical Oncologist is also required to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team, to take an active part in teaching at undergraduate and post graduate levels. You will participate in an on call roster as required, and provide your expertise via consultative services as requested from your colleagues.

The facility offers offers general medical, surgical and specialist services including Intensive Care, Psychiatric, Oncology, Obstetric and Coronary Care services. The Hospital is fitted with a modern 24-hour Emergency Department with approximately 50,012 presentations annually. The Hospital has 186 beds and had approximately 58,189 admissions in the previous year.
