As a Specialist Radiation Oncologist, you will possess skills at a specialist level in exemplary patient care and cancer care services to the community. You will join this rapidly expanding service and the focus will be to provide clinical care and day to day clinical management of associated multidisciplinary patient care to ensure the delivery of cost-effective, high-quality Radiation Oncology treatment. This position will also support and drive strategic business initiatives and contribute towards developing and upholding a high-performance culture that is in alignment with the vision and values of the Group. They are looking for specialists passionate about medical care management and assessing patients with cancer and other conditions referred to them.
The practice operates on an Elekta platform and an Eclipse planning system and uses the Mosaiq Oncology Information System. Currently the Linacs are capable of VMAT, IMRT, OBI and DIBH, as well as SABR and stereotactic cranial treatment. As part of the Queensland network, you will be working collaboratively with a group of over 20 Radiation Oncologists from 8 departments with weekly, State-wide educational meetings and chart rounds. Their senior clinicians act in a mentoring role for all junior colleagues. They have strong links with local multidisciplinary meeting structures and a broad case mix.

To be successful in applying for this position you must hold:
• Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists (FRANZCR) (Faculty of Radiation Oncology)
• Eligibility for full Medical Indemnity insurance and EPA license for radiation oncology
