As a Staff Specialist Anaesthetist, you will be responsible for ensuring continued evidence-based practice and providing training to anesthetic trainees and other health professionals within the hospital. The primary facility is an 80-bed, level 4 hospital which offers primary, secondary and community health services in addition to specialist services such as anaesthetics, paediatrics, psychiatry, surgery and obstetrics & gynaecology

With an interest or experience in intensive care patient management, regional anaesthesia, obstetrics and acute and / or chronic pain management you will demonstrate a high level of clinical knowledge. Specialist registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency and fellowship of the Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists is required for this position.
