As a Consultant in Adult Psychiatry, you will play a leading role in maintaining and enhancing this comprehensive mental health service. As part of a multi-disciplinary team, you will see a wide range of presentations and provide clinics at the main centre as well as rural clinics. Working in an integrated model, you will benefit from a supportive group of colleagues and enjoy a varied workload.
This secondary hospital is part of a larger service providing high quality healthcare to a population of approximately 105,000, providing an enormous scope for a variety of work. The hospital itself was rebuilt in 2004, providing a state-of-the-art facility with up-to-date equipment and technology. You will have the ability to use video conferencing in the clinical setting.
