In this role, you will provide specialist advice in general medicine and infectious diseases in addition to managing outreach services to satellite units, on a part-time basis. Joining a professional and friendly team you will provide support and training to other clinicians in a multidisciplinary team.
This hospital is a 180-bed facility and is the largest of the 4 base facilities in the Area Health Service. Annually the hospital treats more than 27,000 patients in the Emergency Department, performs over 6,000 operations, delivers more than 900 babies and performs 65,000 outpatient services. The service recently underwent a $250m development.
This facility has close links with Sydney University and hosts students in the final two years of the Graduate Medical Programme. The hospital has also been actively involved in JMO and registrar training for over twenty years, with JMO and registrar support of all major disciplines.
