Wavelength is looking for a Palliative Care Specialist to provide the highest possible standard of specialist palliative care to our client’s patients and their families. You will work in a multidisciplinary team and provide your expertise in inpatient and community settings, and via a consultancy service as required.
Our client places a heavy emphasis on innovation and service development and as part of your new role you will actively participate in research projects, drive improvements in service delivery and take a leading role in teaching palliative care principals to medical, nursing and health professional undergraduate and postgraduate students.

To be successful in applying for this position you will be able to demonstrate extensive experience in the assessment and management of terminally ill patients, the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team and a drive for improving the delivery of palliative care. You will hold Specialist registration with the AHPRA and be a Fellow of the Australasian Chapter of Palliative Medicine (AChPM) or a Specialist Medical Practitioner with extensive experience in Palliative Medicine.
