As an experienced Ophthalmologist, you will provide general ophthalmic services including cataract, oculoplastic and pterygium surgery, glaucoma treatment, medical retina including management of macular degeneration, and diabetic retinopathy. Experience in the provision of Indigenous eye health is advantageous, there is an opportunity for the ophthalmologist to travel to outreach areas in indigenous communities.
This Level 4 hospital has a total of 80 beds and offers primary, secondary and community health services in addition to specialist services such as anaesthetics, paediatrics, psychiatry, surgery and obstetrics & gynaecology.

To be successful in applying for this position you must hold FRANZCO and Specialist registration with AHPRA. Alternatively, you will have Specialist experience and be eligible for Specialist registration with AHPRA.
