Position

Wavelength is seeking an experienced O&G Specialist for a full-time opportunity in Southern Victoria. You will be highly skilled with an interest in leadership as you join a close-knit team of 3 full time specialists. The department assists over 450 births per year and provides high level clinical services across a level 4 obstetrics unit and level 2 NICU. You will participate in an on-call roster, with the hospital providing around the clock services for paediatric cover, adult ICU, CCU and emergency services. Additionally, you will showcase your skills and knowledge as you provide supervision and education for tertiary students and junior colleagues

Hospital

This regional hospital has 74 beds and services a catchment population of approximately 85,000. The facility offers a range of surgical services across the specialty areas of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Paediatrics, ENT, Ophthalmology, Urology and General Surgery. Additionally, a range of Allied Health services are available including on site pathology and medical imaging, Oncology, Haematology, dialysis, aged care and rehabilitation facilities. The hospital sees approximately 16,000 presentations to the modern Emergency Department annually alongside 12,000 patient admissions.
