The Position

As a Specialist in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, you will provide expert diagnosis, treatment and care for public patients. You will arrange onward referral of patients for O&G services not available at the hospital and participate in an on-call roster with other O&G Specialists. Your expertise will be utilised in providing training for DRANZCOG candidates, FRANZCOG trainees and other Junior Medical Staff on rotation within the Unit. Working alongside the Clinical Director, you will assist in annual budget managements and continuous quality improvement activities as required.

Essential Criteria

You will hold or be eligible to hold Specialist registration with the Australian Medical Board (AHPRA) with experience from a country with a comparable health care system (NZ, UK, Ireland, Canada or USA).
