The Position
Joining the Obstetrics and Gynaecology department at the hospital, you will be working closely alongside a dedicated team of healthcare professionals. The primary focus of the position is to provide specialist O&G healthcare to both patients of the hospital and outreach services as required. This is an exciting opportunity to grow and develop your skills as you work collaboratively within the team. You will be responsible for the clinical care of obstetric and gynaecological patients ranging from patients within the emergency department, the antenatal clinic and inpatients.

The hospital provides both acute and aged care services, including a 24/7 emergency department, oncology, operating theatres, and dialysis services. The core services include delivery of Acute Hospital Care, Rehabilitation, Aged Care Services, Outpatient Services, Home Based Services and Community Health. The hospital treats approximately 12,000 acute inpatients and 17,000 Emergency department patients per year. Furthermore, the hospital provides general surgical, medical, obstetrics and gynaecology, urology, ophthalmology, dentistry, endoscopy, gastroscopy, colonoscopy, bronchoscopy, and paediatric services with visiting sub-specialty services including urology, vascular, ENT, paediatric surgery, upper GI surgery and IVF.

Essential Criteria
To be successful in applying for this position you must hold specialist qualification with RANZCOG and be registrable as a Specialist in Obstetrics and Gynaecology with AHPRA or eligible.
