An exciting opportunity is available for an ICU registrar to join a fast-growing Intensive Care Unit in Melbourne. The ideal incumbent will already be a trainee with CICM or have a strong interest in join the CICM training program. Joint rotations are available for ICU registrars in Emergency Medicine and Internal Medicine.
The hospital is a 300-bed general hospital providing comprehensive care in southwest Melbourne. Rapidly expanding the hospital provides emergency, intensive care, surgical, medical, sub-acute, mental health palliative care, maternity, and newborn care. The ICU is an 8-bed level 2 metropolitan unit and it’s expected acuity numbers will increase as the hospital expands.
Located just 32 kms from Melbourne CBD, with affordable spacious housing available this location is popular for established couples and families. There are many schools and training colleges in the area as well as an excellent network of trains and buses to both Melbourne and Geelong.
MBBS or equivalent and eligibility for or currently registered as a medical practitioner with AHPRA. At least three years post graduate experience with a demonstrated interest in Intensive Care.
