GP based in the community of Julanimawu (Nguiu) in the Arafura Sea approximately 70km north east of Darwin. Also known as Nguiu and in the community of Wurrumiyanga. Wurrumiyanga lies on the traditional county of the Tiwi people, on Bathurst Island.
Work is undertaken in a multi-disciplinary team delivering clinical and public health services to the residents of the Wurrumiyanga community and surrounding outstations. Hours are from 8am to 5pm Monday to Friday. On call - a Nurse on call responds to any call outs and contacts the doctor if advised by the RMP on call from Darwin.
