This GP owned and -run mixed billing practice offers ten consulting rooms, two nurses’ stations, two theatre rooms, an audiology booth, education and a multi-purpose room; only two kilometres from the local hospital. You will have the support of two experienced rural GP partners, three associate GPs and three GP registrars. In addition, you will be assisted by a staff of seven nurses and nine receptionists, including an experienced practice manager.
You will enjoy a relaxed working week of one session from 9am to 1pm and another from 2.30pm to 5pm Monday to Friday, with an afternoon session off each week. This clinic provides an hourly rate for on call to the local hospital. Weekend on-call is one in six depending on GP numbers and this runs from Friday through to Monday morning with a Saturday session in the clinic from 8:30am to 12pm. The on-call GP carries the practice mobile whilst on call.
There are also sessions available at the local hospital that offer additional grants to doctors but taking these sessions on is not essential to this position.

Located approximately 2 hours’ drive from Perth and it is only 60 kilometres from Bunbury, a gorgeous coastal town, which has one of the largest regional hospitals outside the metropolitan area. This town is a modern mining town surrounded by natural parks and picturesque bush land and it is only a 45 minute drive to the coast. Excellent schooling options available in and around the town.
With its population of approximately 10’000, this is a well serviced regional town with modern medical, dental and hospital facilities. The town's meandering waterways offer a wide range of activities, including gentle canoeing, white water rafting, swimming, fishing, and water-skiing.

Health Workforce Certificate and visa sponsorship available.
RACGP PEP-Specialist Pathway eligible international candidates and GPs holding General (PEP-standard pathway) Specialist Registration with AHPRA are eligible for this role.
Procedural obstetrics and/or surgery would be desirable but not essential.
Emergency Medicine experience is essential for the after-hours hospital cover.
