The Practice

This is your chance to join an established practice that operates within a friendly and welcoming rural community. This AGPAL accredited practice is home to two part-time GPs that are highly experienced and dedicated to providing exceptional patient care. The practice is modern and boasts well-equipped facilities to ensure you can perform at your best. With an established patient base and generous remuneration, you will be able to earn well from day one. The practice is also offering accommodation, vehicle use, relocation allowance, charity salary packaging and access to the rural doctor’s rewards program.

Supporting the current two GPs is an experience nurse and receptionist, who will take care of your patients from the moment they enter the practice. This practice has built a team of experienced staff who hold knowledge of the local community and will support you in settling into your new position. There is also a team of allied health professionals including podiatry, diabetic advice, exercise physiology, psychology, and physiotherapy.

You will be able to enjoy family friendly hours as the practice is open from 9:00am to 5:00pm Monday to Friday, with no weekends or on-call. This is a great opportunity to finally enjoy a healthy work-life balance and spend time with your family and friends exploring this rural town.

The Location

Situated in a friendly rural town, this practice is located on the Macquarie River in central west NSW. The town is a quiet and family friendly location with a population of just over 1,500 people recorded in 2016. There is plenty to do and see in this rural town with several local cafes and stores located within the town. If you are feeling adventurous the locals enjoy fishing, golf, exploring the unique flora and fauna at the marshes as well as several scenic walks. There are schooling options within the town with both a primary and high school as well as a local TAFE. You will also be located within an hour’s drive from Dubbo, where you will have access a range of additional schooling options and shopping facilities.

DPA position available.

Health Workforce Certificate and visa sponsorship available.

RACGP PEP-Specialist Pathway eligible international candidates and GPs holding Specialist or General Registration with AHPRA are eligible for this role.
