A well-established, mixed billing practice bids farewell to a senior GP, creating a position for a doctor to join the team on either a full-time or part-time basis. With a GP leaving the practice, there will be an established patient base to be taken over and current doctors seeing around 25-30 patients per day. Earning potential is yours for the taking, with a part-time GP working three days per week billing up to $10,000 gross billings! To ensure you settle in and feel supported, the practice is offering relocation assistance as well as an initial hourly guarantee for the first three months.
You will be joining a team of four doctors that all have varying special interests in areas such as mental health, women’s health, occupational medicine and AOD. Supporting you and your fellow doctors is a team of three nurse and five receptionist that are committed to helping where possible to ensure you can focus on patient care.
The practice is purpose-built with seven consult rooms and two procedure rooms, providing you with equipped facilities to provide patients with quality health care. Providing your patients with convenience there is a pharmacy just 200 metres down the road and the local hospital just 1km from the practice.
Practice opening hours are 8am to 6pm Monday to Friday and 9am to 12pm Saturday, with the practice closed Sundays. The on-call requirement is very low, only one Tuesday every month, with support from the local hospital. RACGP PEP-Specialist Pathway eligible international candidates and GPs holding Specialist or General Registration with AHPRA are eligible for this role.
Women’s health experience and skills is highly desirable but not essential for this position.
