The Practice

This well-established practice is looking for an enthusiastic and personable GP to join their team. You will be working alongside an experienced GP that has a special interest in aged care and skin lesion excision. You will be kept busy seeing around 35 patients per day, allowing you to unlock your full earning potential.

The practice is situated in a classic Queenslander style building and houses four consulting rooms, two treatment rooms with two nurse’s stations and two allied health rooms. You will be well-equipped to work to your full potential.

Currently there one GP who is turning away patients and needs support to take care of the increasing patient demand. Assistance is provided by four part time receptionists, one registered nurse and a practice manager. With support like this, all your admin and day to day needs will be taken care of. There is also a psychologist on-site two days a week, a pharmacy and hospital close by and on-site parking for convenience.

Ideally, this position requires minor procedural skills such as simple excisions and suturing. This is a teaching practice and the practice is happy to provide mentoring if needed. Practice opening hours are from 8am to 6pm Monday to Friday and closed on weekends and public holidays. Doctors’ working hours are flexible and negotiable, providing the ultimate work-life balance.

This practice situated approximately four hours’ drive and only a 45-minute flight north of Queensland's capital, Brisbane. Health Workforce Certificate and visa sponsorship available.

RACGP PEP-Specialist Pathway eligible international candidates and GPs holding Specialist Registration with AHPRA are eligible for this role.
