As an Emergency Medicine Specialist you will join a growing and well supported department with a positive team culture. You will be well supported by experienced SMOs and locums in addition to Registrars and fellow Consultants on shift. Flexible oppportunities are available with the scope to negotiate shift blocks and FIFO options from Perth, with accommodation provided.
This 130-bed modern health facility is the largest regional public hospital in Western Australia, with links to the Trauma Registry at Royal Perth. This facility has recently been extensively redeveloped (in excess of $50 million), ensuring that vital services are offered to the local community. You will experience a high level of acuity and experience a variety of cases including trauma, maternity and mining incidences. The Emergency Department itself sees 30,000 presentations per year, with a 30% paediatric case-load and 25% admission rate.

To be successful in your application, you must hold Fellowship with the Australasian College of Emergency Medicine (FACEM) and have AHPRA Specialist registration.
