You will be joining a multidisciplinary team as a Senior Medical Practitioner in Emergency Medicine. You will provide a high standard of medical care in the assessment and management of patients presenting to the Emergency Department, as well as patients admitted to the General Wards. Your knowledge and experience with be utilised in the provision of training, supervision and education for doctors in training, in consultation with Specialist and other senior staff. On offer is a fixed-term contract of 5 years, with flexibility regarding full-time or part-time appointments at various hours per fortnight.

The network services approximately half a million people including 45,000 Aboriginal people, over a vast two and a half million square kilometre area. You will be based at a new $120 million world-class hospital, including an expanded Emergency Department with 15 treatment spaces.

There is plenty to enjoy locally, as well as indulgent wineries just a short drive away.
You must hold current registration or be eligible to for registration with the Australian Medical Board (AHPRA), with experience from a comparable healthcare system (Australia, New Zealand, the UK, Ireland, Canada or USA). You will possess substantial postgraduate medical experience in General Medicine, General Practice and/or Emergency Medicine.
