As a a Resident Medical Officer in the Emergency Department, you will join a supportive team in providing high quality clinical care to patients requiring urgent treatment and assessment. You will be available to cover a roster inclusive of nights, days and afternoons.
This modern facility has recently undergone redevelopment to provide the region's 55,000 residents with improved services. The improvements include an expanded Emergency Department, a comprehensive cancer care service, improved maternity facilities and services, an improved six-bed high dependency unit next to the Emergency Department and the inpatient mental health ward increased from 9 to 16 beds and collocated with community mental health team to improve care.
