As an Emergency Medicine Career Medical Officer, you will join a supportive team and offer your expertise and critical care skills to a wide range of patients. You will have the experience and skills to work independently in the Emergency Department and add to a team of FACEM?s, CMOs and RNs.You will enjoy a positive work culture in a beautiful and laid-back location, earning a base salary between $121,000 to $209,000.
Situated in a small town of Northern NSW, this 60-bed district hospital provides 24-hour inpatient and emergency department services, low complexity low risk birthing and low-level day only surgical services provided by specialist surgeons and anaesthetists. Within the Emergency Department, you will provide high quality clinical care to the community including elderly, child and indigenous populations.
You will be working only 40 minutes from Coffs Harbour, a popular tourist destination featuring an airport and large central hub. This location is fantastic for families, you will find affordable housing, great schooling opportunities, as well as an abundance of activities to enjoy in your time off. You will have easy access to a variety of stunning beaches and national parks to explore in this beautiful sunny region.
To be eligible to apply for this role you must have general registration with AHPRA or be eligible for registration via the competent authority pathway. You must be able to work independently.
