A rare opportunity exists for a clinical leader with a passion for patient-focused care to provide strategic development and medical leadership to the Cardiovascular Directorate Auckland District Health Board. You will provide overall management to a highly skilled and diverse multi-disciplinary team of health professionals. The Directorate provides national, regional, and local cardiology, cardiothoracic and vascular surgery, and cardiothoracic and vascular intensive care unit services.
The Director will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of the Directorate’s strategic and business plans. You will take ownership of the annual operating budget and drive performance against internal and external financial targets and obligations.
