As a Consultant Radiologist, you will be joining a diverse and collegiate Radiologist group, based within a modern medical imaging department including 3T MRI and high-end CT. The department sees a good mix of Tier B Interventional cases including breast ultrasound and stereotactic hookwire locations. The environment is highly supportive with an experienced Clinical Director (Radiology), rotating 0.5FTE second chair and Sydney-based teleradiology support. You will also have the option to split your time with nearby private practice.
You will work weekdays 8:30am-5pm with no afterhours or on-call requirements. You will receive 8 weeks of leave per year (based on full-time employment), and there are multiple engagement options available for a contractor or employee on a range of fixed-term contract periods. You will earn an attractive salary as well as a retention/sign on bonus up to $200,000. You will also benefit from subsidised accommodation and travel options.

Within this role, you will be based at a Public Hospital within regional NSW. The group offers a broad range of diagnostic medical imaging services and is the preferred radiology supplier to many elite and professional sporting teams.
Based in northeast NSW, this countryside region has a lot to offer. Being one of Australia’s richest agricultural regions, you will enjoy delicious food and wine, as well as yearly festivals showcasing the region’s produce. Based a five-hour drive north of Sydney or seven hours from Brisbane, there is also a daily direct train taking just over six hours. Alternatively, you can fly direct to Sydney from the local Regional Airport just 10km from the town centre. Within the local area you can explore a variety of national parks, dams and waterfalls, making the most of the wide open spaces and natural beauty of this town and surrounding areas.
You must hold FRANZCR and Specialist registration with AHPRA. Overseas applicants cannot be supported at this stage.
