With positions available across various District Health Boards in New Zealand’s North Island and South Island, it is important we can understand your preferences and requirements from both a professional and lifestyle perspective. A couple of examples of the the District Health Boards seeking additional Psychiatrists include one health network which employs approximately 4,300 full-time staff and operates across 2 hospitals. The service provides a range of specialist services including neurosurgery, oncology, neonatal intensive care and community-based services including district nursing, rehabilitations services, social work, alcohol and drug services, and home support services to a population of around 900,000 people.
Another example includes a health network which can provide relocation support as well as CME packages, and strongly values diversity, inclusivity and empathy. Forensic positions service multiples District Health Boards as well as courts and prisons. There are also opportunities at a number of Centres that operate as part of their District Health Board.
