As a Consultant Psychiatrist you will provide your expertise within a Child and Adolescent Mental Health Outpatient setting. The service provides assessment and therapy to children, young people and their families. Your duties will involve acute planned assessments and the ongoing care and treatment of children and adolescents with moderate-to-severe mental illness. The service operates on a multidisciplinary model with a holistic focus, enhancing natural supports and using evidence-based therapies and treatments, linking to the wider sector including education, disability services and NGO providers to assist in recovery and wellbeing. You will be required to participate in the on-call roster, although the Centre operates Monday to Friday in providing assessment and treatment. This is a part-time opportunity (0.7FTE), working 28 hours per week.
