Wavelength International are working closely with the Tasmanian Health Service to bring an exciting opportunity for an existing Clinical Director or and experienced Senior Specialist ready to step up to a more senior role. The position provides a platform to make a difference to the local community in North-West Tasmania, with responsibility for the delivery of safe, effective and consumer driven mental health services to the region.
In doing so, you will be part of an existing, supportive team who are passionate about high quality mental health services and be a key part of the Statewide clinical leadership team for Tasmania.
Statewide Mental Health Services is an important service delivery arm of the Tasmanian Health Service within the Community, Mental Health and Wellbeing portfolio of services. It incorporates an integrated operational and clinical governance framework that supports the delivery of statewide services across six clinical specialty streams, Child and adolescent Mental Health Services, Adult Mental Health Services, Older Persons Mental Health Services, Forensic Mental Health Services, alcohol and Drug Services and Correctional Primary Health Service.

A successful applicant will have extensive experience at a senior level within a mental health care sector and hold Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists.
