This is a fantastic opportunity for a Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist. You will be providing your expertise in an outpatient setting, across two locations (40 minutes apart). The hospital services a population catchment of 180,000 offering services such as Maternity, Paediatric, Coronary Care, Mental health, Intensive Care and also High Dependency Care. The Mental Health services include a 24-bed Acute Adult Inpatient Unit, an 8-bed Child and Adolescent Inpatient Unit, as well as an Older Adult Unit, Consultation Liaison services and Community teams.

Australia/NZ must hold FRANZCP and be eligible for Specialist registration with AHPRA.
UK/Ireland must hold MRC Psych/FRC Psych plus UK Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) and have been practicing as a Consultant for 3 years or more.
USA must hold Certificate of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and have been practicing as a Consultant for 3 years or more.
Canada must hold Fellowship in Psychiatry or Certificate in Psychiatry from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and have been practicing as a Consultant for 3 years or more.
Other qualifications can of course be assessed on a case-by-case basis. For those unable to work at Consultant level, there are multiple opportunities to take advantage of at Senior Medical Officer and Registrar level.
