Rare opportunity for an experienced Chemical Pathologist to join a high performing team in Bella Vista, focussed on delivering quality pathology services.

$350k - $360k total package (depending on exp)

About The Role

- Delivering a comprehensive clinical biochemistry service for all users of the laboratory, including providing expert support for the diagnosis and management of biochemical clinical problems, and advising on appropriate investigations

- Supporting the day-to-day management of the clinical biochemistry laboratory, acting as clinical liaison for service users from other teams, and facilitating ongoing service development, audit, quality assurance and accreditation processes

- Liaising with requesters and providing advice regarding result interpretation, ordering further appropriate testing as required, and ensuring all services rendered complies with regulatory requirements

- Mentoring team members, participating in training and development, and contributing to ongoing research

About You

- Registered or eligible to be registered with AHPRA, and Fellowship of the Royal College of Pathologists of Australasia (FRCPA - Chemical Pathology) or equivalent

- Extended experience within the biochemistry testing environment, along with strong clinical, diagnostic, reporting and procedural expertise including consultation, liaison and methodology

- Systematic and methodical approach to problem solving, high attention to detail, along with strong communication and prioritisation skills

- Team player with a calm temperament to work under pressure, and exceptional stakeholder engagement and relationship skills
