This small friendly AMS clinic situated in the heart of the Kimberleys Creek. It is an Aboriginal community controlled health service that provides holistic services and programs. You will be working with one other doctor with support from 6 nurses, clinical ops manager and 3 Aboriginal Health Practitioners.
You will also be required to share in the cover of outreach clinic small plane ride away once week, with other GP.
FRACGP or VR status with Medicare. Current registration with AHPRA.

Ongoing, 4 week block minimum
You will work weekdays 8:30am – 5pm. The work will be a mix of the main clinic, respiratory clinic and outreach work. This varied role may see you stay overnight in other communities for outreach work. Communicare is the software and they require a VR GP. Appointments are booked at 20 minute intervals.
Visit the spectacular Cape York and support Indigenous communities.

Working in an outreach clinic of an Indigenous health service, you willl be working supported by another GP, admin staff and Aboriginal Health workers. This is a well-organised, popular role and each community presents a new experience.
You will be COVID tested on Monday and will fly to community on Tuesday following a negative result.

With a focus on rehabilitation and reintegration, this is a medium to maximum security prison for males and females. You will assess all new inmates and will be required to provide assistance with emergencies during the day.
Monday to Friday only. No after hours or oncall.
Accommodation provided and flights reimbursed. A car will be provided which may be shared by other GP.

The GPs are well supported by RNs and a substantial Indigenous workforce. They are a multidisciplinary service with in-house antenatal, child, social and emotional, diabetes, oral and allied health staff. The service also has a network of visiting medical specialists who are supported locally by a team of nurses.
Hours are 8:30-5pm Monday to Friday.
This is a bulk billing service and Medical Director is used.
The first week will be spend in Broken Hill only and the remaining time will be split between Broken Hill and Wilcannia during the week which is 200km east.
VR with AHPRA and Medicare. Experience in Aboriginal health.

You will work Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5pm with no weekends or on-call. Support will be provided by excellent registered nurses and the patients will predominantly be tourists.
