What Subspecialties of Radiology do we recruit for?
Our dedicated Radiology Team provides expert career advice and will share the best radiology job opportunities in these areas:
We also regularly help our Doctors find rewarding jobs in Radiation Oncology or unique vacancies requiring dual-trained Radiologists in Nuclear Medicine. In addition, our team can find Radiology jobs for Doctors looking to focus on modalities of MRI/CT/US/X-Ray.
What qualifications do you need to work as a Radiologist in Australia and New Zealand?
The specialist qualification in Australia and New Zealand is Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologist (RANZCR), which is a 5-year program. You can compare your training program to the RANZCR training program to see if it is comparable in terms of content, duration, governance and assessment. If so, it may be worth applying for Specialist Assessment in Australia or Vocational registration in New Zealand.
Doctors who have completed specialist training in the UK/Ireland (MRCR + CCT), Canada or South Africa are often deemed partially comparable.
Benefit from our in-house Regulatory and Migration team expertise.
It is rare for an overseas-trained Radiologist to be deemed Substantially Comparable, however, all Doctors working with us to secure a job are eligible for an assessment by our in-house Regulatory and Migration team.
All our Doctors have access to expert advice on the registration process with the College, AHPRA and Medicare, plus migration advice from our in-house registered migration agents.
