== The Position == This hospital with strong community ties is looking for passionate and enthusiastic Psychiatry Registrar to join their Mental Health team to provide support for people with mental health disorders and maintain their independence. In this position you will provide clinical care to patients with mental health problems under the supervision of a consultant psychiatrist as part of a multi-disciplinary clinical team, including ensuring continuity of care both within the Division and with external service providers. You will liaise with the patient?s general practitioner, other health care providers, and appropriate community networks (where available and indicated) regarding referrals and discharge.   The Hospital The hospital is 160 bed main referral facility for the district which serves a population of approximately 135,000 people. The hospital deals with accidents and retrievals from surrounding islands, mining and farming areas, making it a central and vital facility for the region with a large range of clinical presentations.  == The Location == This tropical city with a rich and colourful history is known for its picture perfect ?post card? beaches and laid back environment.
