== The Position ==: An exciting opportunity is available for PHO to join a highly regarded hospital close to Brisbane. This role is to start before the end of the year. You will be in a non-training position, providing assessment and treatment to patients. Ideally you will have General Registration with APHRA however overseas registrars are also strongly considered.  The Hospital  This service provides public health care to more than 500,000 people living in one of Australia?s most desired lifestyle destinations. They deliver world-class patient care and by talking to any one of their 6000 employees, you will see why!   The hospital provides high quality treatment for patients while also offering world class facilities for health research and teaching. It is the largest clinical and research facility in Australia and for health students, the training environment is second to none.   The service has state-of-the-art facilities and provides clinical services in medicine, surgery, obstetrics and gynaecology, mental health, paediatrics, emergency medicine with aeroretrieval, intensive care, palliative care, anaesthetics, allied health, ambulatory and outpatient. New services include radiotherapy, neuroscience and cardiac surgery. The hospital has 20 operating theatres and the emergency department is four times larger than the previous emergency department, and is supported by a new medical assessment unit.   == The Location ==  The hospital is located 80 kilometres south of Brisbane in a very popular tourist destination.
