== The Position == As a Principle house officer with at least 3 years of prior practical experience, you will join the health service on a rotational basis. Providing leadership to residents in the unit you are based within, you will find yourself supported by senior staff and specialists. Partnering with other health services with the area, you may be placed on 10-12 week secondments where you will gain varied exposure plus have access to benefits such as a living away allowance and accommodation. You will be flexible to cover various areas of medicine with general medicine and emergency medicine being the most prevalent. The Hospital Across the Health Service, a range of specialty services are provided including acute care, surgical, medical, maternity, mental health, rehabilitation and aged care services. With various hospitals within the area, offering both private and public care, there is always the opportunity for career growth and progression and you will find yourself supported and encouraged as you become a valued member of the team. You will deliver quality care for patients and their families with values such as delivering patient centred care and engaging with the community at the forefront of practice. When on a secondment to other health services a full overview and induction will be provided. == The Location == All based within the sunshine state of Australia, you will find easy access to white sand beaches or national parks with rainforests to explore and you will find yourself enjoying warm weather year round. With the main health service covering a population of 184,000 you may find yourself based in a large regional town with easy access to beaches and surf schools or another coastal town with a vibrant marina. On secondment you will find yourself welcomed in to the local community and hospital network as you get a chance to experience a different side of life. == Essential Criteria == To be successful in applying for this position you must hold AHPRA General or Provisional registration or be eligible for provisional registration via the Competent Authority pathway.
