== The Position == A fantastic opportunity has become available for a Clinical Leader to lead a regional Pain Management service. As the Clinical Leader, you will be part of the Anaesthetics and Pain Management department and responsible for building and maintaining effective working relationships between management and clinicians to achieving quality outcomes for patients and efficient functioning of services.  Clinically, you will also be responsible for ensuring that all steps necessary are taken to assist patients to achieve optimal health, wellbeing and safety through the provision of appropriate assessment, intervention and education. You will work as part of a dedicated and enthusiastic multidisciplinary team comprising consultants, nurses, psychologists, physiotherapists and occupational therapists. You will also be involved with first-year pain fellows, a passion for training and education is essential. The Hospital This tertiary referral hospital is one of the largest in the region, serving a population of approximately 300,000 and providing specialist services for a regional population of about 900,000, delivering community, primary, secondary and tertiary health services.  The hospital offers complex specialist and acute services, procedures and treatments such as the intensive care unit, cardiac surgery, cancer care, cardiology procedures, neurosurgery, maxillofacial surgery, and renal care available. The hospital recently underwent redevelopment and now offers state of the art theatres, a new neonatal ward and a larger ICU. Unless you are a native English speaker you must also meet the English language proficiency requirements.
