== The Position == Wavelength is seeking a full time permanent specialist paediatrician for a unique opportunity. In this role your duties will include the provision of clinical care to patients, assisting with the education of junior doctors and students. You will be expected to participate in an on call roster. You will have the opportunity to shine as a senior medical team member; as such your responsibilities will include participating in and leading appropriate clinical governance activities and service planning and development. You will be expected to uphold the values of the health service and work harmoniously with colleagues. The Hospital This role is based in a brand new, state-of-the-art hospital comprising of 130 overnight beds with a view to increase over the next 5 years. Receiving over $160 million in federal funding, the new facility has enhanced the range, quality, and level of clinical and support services in the local region. Furthermore, it is a teaching hospital for medical and nursing students.
