== The Position == As an Orthopaedic Principle House Officer, you will be able to utilise your 3 years of prior Orthopaedic experience to aid you in your ability to deliver a high quality of clinical care to all patients. Whilst actively engaging in teaching and providing advice to junior staff and students, you will find yourself well supported by senior staff and the director of the department as you join a welcoming team. You will have a proven ability to communicate effectively with both staff and patients and you will be motivated by the opportunity to have hands on experience. The Hospital  With 230 beds, this hospital is the main referral centre for the region and services an immediate and surrounding population of roughly 250,000 people. With a newly built seven-storey ward block, this space offers an expanded critical care service, extended emergency care unit and a helipad for trauma patients. As the regional referral centre for emergency services, the facility sees an approximate 45,000 ED presentations per year and a total of 22,000 admissions.
