== The Position == This is an exciting and rare opportunity for a Gynaecological Oncologist who is motivated and willing to contribute to a busy and very important unit. Your continued development is a high priority for this District Health Board, you will be given the opportunity for professional development, upskilling and take on other roles within the department.   The Hospital This tertiary referral hospital is one of the largest in the region, serving a population of approximately 300,000 and providing specialist services for a regional population of about 900,000, delivering community, primary, secondary and tertiary health services.  The hospital offers complex specialist and acute services, procedures and treatments such as the intensive care unit, cardiac surgery, cancer care, cardiology procedures, neurosurgery, maxillofacial surgery, and renal care available. The hospital recently underwent redevelopment and now offers state of the art theatres, a new neonatal ward and a larger ICU.
