== The Position == Wavelength is seeking a motivated Director of Anaesthetics for an exciting opportunity in Victoria. You will be providing a coordinated, high quality anaesthetic service to the hospital, whilst leading and supporting your team of clinical staff. You will work across a number of departments within the Hospital including the preadmission clinic, emergency department and ICU. You will participate in an on call roster and provide your expertise to professional groups within the subregion. Additionally, you will have an interest in sharing your knowledge as you provide teaching and development to junior medical staff whilst facilitating ongoing education to nurses and allied health team members. The Hospital Servicing a catchment population of over 37,000 this hospital provides a wide range of care for patients including sub-acute, intensive care and maternity services. The facility has two operating theatres and approximately 3,000 operations are carried out annually across specialties such as urology, gastroenterology, orthopaedics and general surgery. The Emergency department assists more than 7,000 patients per year, alongside 6,800 admissions.  Recent funding has been announced for the hospital and the services it provides; allowing future planning for more beds, renovations to the facility and upgrades to equipment in order to maintain its high degree of patient care and positive outcomes to this growing region. == The Location == Located in South- West Victoria, this town has a rich agricultural history.
