== The Position == Seeking to appoint highly motivated and enthusiastic General Adult Psychiatrists. There are multiple positions available and you will be accountable and responsible to the area Clinical Director ? Mental Health, Justice Health and Alcohol and Drug Services through an Individual Learning and Development Plan.   To be successful, you will have broad experience in Community Psychiatry including the challenges of managing an itinerant population and in optimising medication options. An emphasis on Recovery within this context is essential.   Mental Health, Justice Health and Alcohol & Drug Services (MHJHADS) provides health services directly and through partnerships with community organisations. The services provided range from prevention and treatment to recovery, maintenance and harm minimisation. Consumer and carer participation is encouraged in all aspects of service planning and delivery. The Division works in partnership with consumers, carers and a range of government and non-government service providers to ensure the best possible outcomes for clients.   The Hospital The hospital that you will be working with provides specialised and acute care to the city and surrounding region. The hospital was established in 1991 and now has 600+ beds to serve a population of over half a million. Today the hospital is recognised as a national leader in the provision of high-quality healthcare, delivering a variety of medical, surgical and obstetric services. The hospital is also a principal university teaching hospital, affiliated with world class universities and research institutions.   In this role you will work with the Mental Health, Justice Health and Alcohol & Drug Services. The Division encompasses; prevention, treatment, recovery, maintenance and harm minimisation.
