Seeking to appoint highly motivated and enthusiastic General Adult Psychiatrists. There are multiple positions available and you will be accountable and responsible to the area Clinical Director – Mental Health, Justice Health and Alcohol and Drug Services through an Individual Learning and Development Plan.
To be successful, you will have broad experience in Community Psychiatry including the challenges of managing an itinerant population and in optimising medication options. An emphasis on Recovery within this context is essential.
Mental Health, Justice Health and Alcohol & Drug Services (MHJHADS) provides health services directly and through partnerships with community organisations. The services provided range from prevention and treatment to recovery, maintenance and harm minimisation. Consumer and carer participation is encouraged in all aspects of service planning and delivery. The Division works in partnership with consumers, carers and a range of government and non-government service providers to ensure the best possible outcomes for clients.

In this role you will work with the Mental Health, Justice Health and Alcohol & Drug Services. The Division encompasses; prevention, treatment, recovery, maintenance and harm minimisation. These services are available at various locations including hospital inpatient and outpatient settings, as well as community health centres to ensure patients receive excellent clinical outcomes
