== The Position == Due to expansion and continued growth, Mental health are seeking a number of experienced and innovative consultants to join their team.   As a consultant psychiatrist you will be working in our newly redeveloped Inpatient Unit and Emergency Department.   The Health Service provides a comprehensive range of psychiatric adult services to the local cities. Clinical care is provided by way of two acute in?patient units, a residential community care unit, a crisis assessment and treatment team, a prevention & recovery care unit and integrated community mental health teams. Acute Psychiatric support is provided in the emergency departments at the both of the hospitals in the health service. The health service is a diverse, award-winning national health and aged care provider employing 6,000 people who provide compassionate and holistic care.     The Hospital This 200 bed, large regional community hospital provides a range of services including surgical, maternity, obstetric care, dialysis, emergency, mental health, aged and palliative care, allied health services and a 24 hour emergency department. As part of the hospitals mental health program they offer a range of acute and community psychiatric services.   == The Location == Located just 32 kilometres from Melbourne CBD, the suburb has been experiencing substantial growth and is quickly becoming the commuter town.
