== The Position == This health service is seeking an innovative and dynamic Emergency Medicine Registrar to join an evolving and progressive Emergency Department. You will supervise and lead in the continuing education of the Junior Medical Officers and collaborate with the Staff Specialists and ED Director to deliver a high quality Emergency service for the regional community. You will be challenged with varying presentations allowing you to gain exposure to a large number of medical cases. The Hospital This Regional Trauma centre provides a wide range of accessible healthcare services to a population of about 250,000 residents in the community.  The hospital is very involved with the local communities and fosters a working environment with a strong sense of teamwork, integrity, accountability and respect. With the hospital being split across two campuses, one of the Emergency Departments consists of 20 treatment areas and receives 35,000 presentations annually whilst the other consists of 8 treatment areas and receives 32,000 presentations annually. == The Location == This vibrant city has a bustling economy, world-class medical and health services, an exciting cultural and artistic scene, sporting facilities to rival those of the capital cities and seemingly endless leisure and recreation options.
